Okay – this Napo lemon and vodka drink is a bit of a Swindon in 50 drinks cheat in that this business is based in Trowbridge. Buuuut I did meet Robert Hobbs of Four Friends Drinks at The Foundry launch event in Workshed. And that’s very much in Swindon and it’s something different so …y’know. Here we are. With something that’s not bloody gin – Lord I hate that stuff. I had a bad experience with it once – ’nuff said. And I don’t like tonic either.

Swindon Literature Festival is 30! Planning is now underway for the next — the 30th no less — Swindon Festival of Literature, due to take place 1st – 7th May ’23.

Enchanted Gardens Light Trail Partners
Enchanted Gardens Light Trail Partners – South Swindon Parish Council is partnering with Brighter Futures, Prospect Hospice and ShopSmall Swindon at the Enchanted Gardens Light Trail 2022.
Last year the Parish Council partnered with Brighter Futures and raised over £25,000. The donations helped fund the new urgent treatment centre at Great Western Hospital. This year Brighter Futures will be running a winter raffle. And also selling some incredible Christmas stocking fillers.

Swindon’s Science Festival gets Arts Council Boost. Swindon’s successful Festival of Tomorrow will be back for its fourth year, after receiving a grant from the Arts Council of England. Thanks to the support, the festival will combine science and the arts. It’ll be teaming up with artists and Swindon arts organisations to find new ways to help people explore the science, technology and discoveries that will shape the future.
Swindon Railway Village Winter Fayre
Myself and SED Developments are going to be at the Swindon Railway Village Winter Fayre flogging our relevant wares. Mrs SED, aka Jo, will have lots of fabulous 3D printed stuff: cookie cutters, fondant stamps, cake toppers and more. And of course I’ll have my publications. Incidentally, the baked good topper/sign is a product of SED Developments.
