Dave Southby Money Drop-in. Financial adviser Dave Southby is offering drop-in sessions in Wroughton in July. And on a quarterly basis afer that. He’s extending an invitation to local residents to pop in for a free, informal chat about their finances.
From insurance to pensions, Dave has a wealth of expertise to share. He’s running these quarterly sessions with support from Will writer Martin Baker who can help with probate and estate planning.
Dave said: ‘It can often be difficult finding the right person to help. So we’ve designed these sessions to make it easier for people to seek the help they need. We both live in Wroughton and it’s a privilege to be able to give back to the local community.
We guide people, who attend. All we want is to help them. It’s our belief that it’s so important for people to understand their finances and plan for their future and their family’s future.’
‘There is a lot of uncertainty at the moment with the current cost of living crisis. It’s good for people to talk through their concerns. And, I hope go away with some information that will help them.’
Although there is no formal advice given, Dave hopes that people leave with a better understanding of their options and with some of their questions answered.
Based on previous experience he expects the next event to be busy. Dave said: ‘We’ve done four sessions so far and they have all been very popular.’
The drop-in sessions, which are free of charge, are going to be at the Ellendune Centre on Friday 21st July between 9am and 1pm. All people have to do is turn up.
Dave Southby is a partner with St James’ Place and helps individuals, families and small business owners to manage their wealth in effective style. He specialises in working with people who live in Swindon and North Wiltshire. To find out more about him visit https://davesouthbyfp.co.uk/
